City of Bones, by Cassandra Clare, is the first book in the series, The Mortal Instruments. The series is about the discovery of the ‘Shadow World’, by teenager Clary Fray, and the subsequent events that follow her discovery.
This book series is similar in many ways to the Harry Potter book series. This is because both have the characters evolve throughout the series, both are full of mysteries and secrets and both are coming of age stories.
I give this a big ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating.
