One day in a small apartment lived a boy called Frank and a dad called Gilbert (a banger racer). Gilbert lost a leg when he crashed a car so he has stopped racing but he works for a bad man called Mr Big who asked Gilbert to become a getaway driver.
Characters – Frank is Gilbert’s son. He sneaks out every night to find out what his dad is doing. Gilbert was a banger racer but he lost a leg so he went to find a job. He found Mr Big who is a most wanted criminal. Gilbert was a getaway driver for Mr Big. Mr Big is a crime boss whatever time of day but he wears silk pyjamas and a dressing gown. Fingers and Thumbs are Mr Big’s henchmen. Fingers is a pickpocket and Thumbs causes terrible pain to Mr Big’s enemies.
I would definitely recommend this book. I have read more David Walliams books and they are all good and my friends also like these funny books.
